You also do several diagnostic tests to make sure the major parts are running well. Doing this keeps your car running well. It also helps you pass a smog test. In my San Diego smog check service we always recommend older cars to do regular tune ups. Because the older your car gets the harder it is to pass a smog test.
Another thing you definitely need to maintain are your car’s brakes.This is basically important since brakes that fail are dangerous. Plus they are seriously expensive to have repaired. Like most things it is better to keep in good shape then waiting for it to break. All my San Diego brake service clients are given step by step instructions on helping maintain their brakes. This always helps them keep their brakes longer so that they can save in brake replacement.
So those are a couple of tips you can follow to make sure your car lasts longer. In the long run good maintenance saves you money by having less major repairs.
